Now it's time to step on black soil of the Valley of their Honor. Have you ever been in Dante's Inferno? Leave your fantasies if you haven't - you will not hear the screams of sinners and sounds of the flesh roasting on coals, there will no be an evil demon and a good angel - everything you feel will be chilling winds, moving the space around and through you with a dense rumble.

Valley of the Kings is a music for your nightmare that became more real than your very breath. Music can be similar to the painting, and this is exactly the case. All the time through listening to this album the imaginary vision draws pictures of this magnificent emptiness, which is the emptiness to the profanes, but the Arcane for the initiated ones. Listen carefully, leave your terrestrial worries - as when again will you have a chance to follow the call of the Dog-Star and to freeze in awe, looking at the Gates, passing through wich you will never go back?

❤️My original plan was to go through and buy individual tracks like I do with most compilation albums, but honestly there are just so many good ones that I wound up buying the whole thing. More than simple drones (though there are plenty of those, too), this album collects many of the best and most innovative dark ambient artists in one place, including many who are new to me.
